The Stringbabies family is spreading. At the beginning of this term Music Cornwall (formerly Cornwall Music service) became Partners.
The Stringbabies programme will be initially delivered by Karen Frost, Head of Strings, down there. It is all very exciting and there is an encouraging precedent being set by Surrey Arts.
I had a conversation with Yvette, the co-ordinator yesterday. ‘We’ve run out of cellos!’ she said. Cellos - not cellists! An empty store cupboard with instruments being out there and being played is a good problem to have perhaps!
