The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland offers specialist degrees and training across dance, drama, music, production and screen, students at the Royal Conservatoire enjoy the nurturing and challenging environment needed to develop emerging talent to professional standards.
The Royal Conservatoire’s Musicworks outreach department currently enables over 800 young people all over Scotland to discover the joy of making music - young people who otherwise may not have the opportunity. Location and socio-economic backgrounds are irrelevant, instead, we ask communities how we can provide support and, likewise, we respond to requests for help. Musicworks currently operates 12 centres throughout Scotland working alongside Local Authorities, schools and community organisations at a grass roots level, offering its expertise on a long term basis. Musicworks helps to develop a child’s interest and skill in music, and provides a clear progression to full time arts training for the most talented and dedicated pupils.
